Aravali Golf Club

The first golf green was set up in Faridabad, Haryana in 1966, with the building designed by the famous architect named Joseph Allan Stein. However, since it suffered from lack of patronage, it was handed over to Haryana Tourism in 1988 and reintroduced as the Aravali Golf Course. The Course design was then laid by Stephen Kay, the famous Golf architect from the U.S.A. Today, it is 18-hole golf course. An 18 hole game can be played with the repeat of the 9-hole game.In the Golf course there is provision for billiards. 6 luxurious rooms and a committee room have been added for the Golf lovers. The keen golfers can make a night stay here at the lush green golf course about 30 km from Delhi and tee off early in the Morning.

The Aravalli Golf Course was developed by Haryana Tourism in 1988 and designed by Stephen Kay, a renowned golf course architect from the U.S.A. Spread over 45 acres, it has a 18-hole facility. There is also a club house with restaurant, card room and billiard facilities. Cottages exclusively for the use of the patrons have also been built. These cottages can be rented over the entire weekend, by those who would like to stay on and play. Catering facilities are also available.

Bhadkal Lake

Badkhal Lake was a natural lake situated in Faridabad, Haryana, about 16 kilometers from Delhi. It was surrounded by hilly areas of the Aravali Range. There was a time when it was a most visited tourist place in Faridabad. However as of May 2009, the lake gets almost dried up due to grassy terrain and the low rainfall in the area .Since Faridabad was becoming an industrial area due to which some mines surrounding the lake results in blockage of flow of water to the lake's reservoir. The government had committed to do needful for the lake and also make it as beautiful as it was before for the preparations of 2010 Commonwealth Games, but no action has been taken so far. Also some mineral water companies are responsible as well, for taking water from the lake for their purposes. However Badhkal delights with its accommodation wings. The rooms on the first floor have their own balconies. On the ground floor is a tiny garden

Sunbird Surajkund

Sunbird is a beautifully landscaped tourist resort. It lies 8 km from South Delhi, a brief drive from the Delhi-Agra (National Highway No. 2).Sunbird is a simple but equally well laid out property. India Gate

The India Gate is one of the largest war memorials in India. This fascinating stone structure was built in 1921 in the memory of 90,000 Indian soldiers who died in First World War & Afghan Wars. The names of these soldiers are inscribed on the stone of the 42 meter high triumphal arch which stand on a base of Bharatpur stone and rises in stages. It was designed by Edwin Lutyens. There is the  Amar Jawan Jyoti burning in the shrine under the arch of India Gate since 1971 to commemorate the 'Indian Armed Forces' losses in the Indo Pakistan War of 1971.

Qutab Minar

Qutab Minar , the 239ft sandstone tower is an Indo-Islamic architectural wonder of ancient India. It was built by King Qutubuddin Aibak of Slave dynasty in 1199 , to proclaim the victory of Islam after the defeat of last Hindu Kingdom in Delhi. It is located at Aurabindo Marg, near Mahrauli, 14Km south of Connaught place in Delhi. The tapering, fluted structure has five storeys, each marked by intricately carved projections or balconies. The tower was built in three stages. The fisrt one was completed by Qutubuddin Aibak & rest were completed by his successors & son-in-law. There are elaborately carved pillars which come from Hindu temples. However the decoration of the Qutab Minar is consistently Islamic in character from base to top.

Lotus Temple

Lotus temple , a Bahai house of worship is a prominent attraction spot in Delhi. It was completed in 1986. Believers of any faith are free to visit the temple & pray silently according to their religion. It is called so because its structure is in the shape of Lotus flower. Its design is composed of 27 free-standing marble clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides. The nine doors of the Lotus Temple open onto a central hall, capable of holding up to 2,500 people. No musical instrument is allowed inside the temple. Furthermore no ritualistic ceremonies can be practiced.


Iskcon temple also known as Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple is situated in East of Kailash, South Delhi. It is one of the 40 Temples that have been built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCKON). The multimedia shows need to be organized there to help devotees to understand the story of the Epics- Ramayana & Mahabharata. There is a central hall that holds idols of Radha-Krishna along with other deities. An interior of the temple is done by Russian artists representing different phases of lives of Deities. It is open for all the days. There are different prayer timings viz Morning Prayer timings are 4.30 am, 7.15 am, 7.45 am and Evening prayer timings are - 12.30 pm, 7.00 pm and 7.45 pm.
